Welcome to the world of
Carl Trimble, dba
Trimble Studios, is an architectural glass artist and sculptor. My desire
is to become the artwork resource for you or your firm as is appropriate.
Whether your plans include original, one of a kind art, or the
restoration and repair of existing art, I would welcome the
opportunity to talk with you about your desires or needs.
Within the website
you will find a variety of images of my work which range from very traditional to ultra contemporary.
Included are images of residential, religious and hospitality/commercial
work in a wide variety of both style and art glass media. In some cases, before and after images show the dramatic difference a well designed and fabricated work of art can make in your home or other environment.
Although not a new kid on the block in the Metroplex, in some ways,
I have been one of its best kept secrets. The intent is to eliminate
the secrecy. Beginning in 1985 with a commission for the Park City Club in Preston Center,
I have continued to receive major commissions which have included The Energy Club; 8080 N. Central Expressway in Campbell Center; Gleneagles Country Club in Plano,
the Petroleum Club in Fort Worth and the restoration of the stained
glass for the Criswell Center of First Baptist Church, Dallas. My
studio was selected by the project architects for the restoration of
the stained glass at The Mansion on Turtle Creek at its recent
remodeling. These are in addition to the numerous residential,
commercial, and religious commissions which have continued to be
received over the years.
Mine is a full
service studio which provides a wide range of custom architectural glass products.
Our award winning work ranges from traditional, turn of the 20th Century designs to those designs which can be most readily
be defined as "cutting edge 21st Century contemporary."
As an artist, I hold a Master of Fine Arts degree from The University of North Texas and have more than
forty years experience in my craft. I am a member of the Dallas Chapter of the American Institute of Architects as a Professional Affiliate; serving on the Historical Resources Committee and as a member of the Small Firms Roundtable.
In addition, I am an associate member of the National Association of
Church Design Builders.

The design for your
project begins with the seed of an idea generated by discussions between
you, your design professional and me. If no architect or designer is
required, I work directly with the individual client. The design
concept is then nurtured to maturity.
If you have a concept for any project involving custom glass or metal work, give
me a call. Known as a "problem solver", I enjoy the challenge
of each project.
